Qaudriceps are the muscles in the front of the leg that connect the legs to the pelvis.

Tight Qaudricep muscles cause the pelvis to be tipped forward resulting in posture imbalance which causes strain on the lower back muscles and hence lower back pain.

This also results in posture imbalance, further aggravating the pain.

Forward tipped pelvis is extremely common in people who remain in a seated position for long periods of time. These include office workers, drivers, among others.
